I’m Glad That Wonbin Left FT Island!

 I’ve had some people telling me that I wasn’t sarcastic enough after my long break, you know, after when I got tired of fighting off the uh-noying Suju teenybopper fangirls and kind of took a long vacation. I used to criticize all the artists I wanted, and now I just seem like some Kpop-obsessed rock chick. So alright, I’m going to speak out my mind. After all, this is my personal blog, so why should anybody else care?

 So I’m going to be honest here. Although FT Island fans, who have not been on good terms with me (most are hotheaded Asian FOBs anyway) will certainly hire a sniper to assassinate me or drop an atomic bomb in my house, I’m going to say it. I’m GLAD that Wonbin left FT Island.

 Yes, I’m GLAD that Oh Wonbin left FT Island. Sure, he’s sexy, although I can’t say that he catches up with Hongki in terms of hotness. He looks darn hot when he adorably tries to scream sing “Out of Control”(by Hoobastank), or raps seductively in “Girls Don’t Know.” His Korean accent is even sexier, and he even looks gorgeous in the mallpunk clothes that he wore on SBS Gayo Daejun, while Jaejin looks like he is wearing that Joey Jordison mask and Jonghoon Marilyn Manson rather than John Lydon.
 But that’s it. He’s hot. That’s it.

 Hey, you’ve gotta be honest with me. Wonbin’s not that good of a guitarist. I’m not expecting Jimmy Page out of him. Don’t say “but he’s better than you!” I can at least use effector pedals. Wonbin actually gets criticized a lot from rock fans, mainly because he is in FT Island, the unofficial public enemy number one in many Korean rock fans’ eyes. They bash on everyone they consider “sellouts”, starting from Buzz and Linkin Park, so you really shouldn’t mind. But what they’re saying is, for the most part, right. FT Island aren’t all that great, no offense. And now Wonbin’s out, that burden’s off from his shoulder. He would get less critisms, which should ease him a little bit.
 
 FT Island got a huge amount of media coverage due to Wonbin’s departure. What a huge saving of money. Also thanks to his leaving, Primadonnas made more friends. They weren’t really on good terms with SHINee fans, but now they’re buddies. They became even closer with Elves, who went through a similar situation. VIPs and Cassis are now BFFs with Primadonnas, comforting one another. I mean, at least Primadonnas made some friends. Cassis and Elves all hated them since the ‘07(not 08!) Asia Song Festival Incident when it was reported that some crazy Primadonnas ripped Cassiopeias and Elves’ fan placards and punched some Cassiopeias who were chanting “makjang Hongki” and “FT Island suck.”
 
 So yeah, it’s all beneficial. And we don’t know yet if Song Seunghyun’s good or not. Who knows? He may be an undiscovered guitar god. Wonderfuls hated Yoobin when she first came in, but now they all love her. Camilias also hated Ku Hara and Kang Jiyoung, but they don’t anymore. You guys might start liking Seunghyun too; after all, he’s kinda cute. He probably has been recording with them past few months, since you just can’t release an album in like 2 weeks. It took 14 years for Guns ‘n Roses (and now Axl isn’t so sexy anymore!=[ ); for most teen idol bands it would at least be several months. So this has all been planned for months. Great.
 
 
 If you absolutely can’t get over Wonbin and you know it, it’s okay. Wonbin might start his own band or do other stuffs, so you can still feed on your Wonbin sensation. What I’m worried about is this rumor about him enlisting in the military. That’d be 2~3 years, no!

Oh Wonbin Left FT Island!

 You’ve heard me right, babes. Oh Wonbin, the rhythm guitarist and sub vocal of FT Island has left the band today, due to the ‘difference in musical taste’, according to his label company, FC Music. This is sad, I know, but no worry. There’ll be a new member in Feb., before FT Island release their mini album.

 So yeah, we gotta let go. Bye bye Wonbin. We’ll always love you.

 But who knows…He might re-join later. Just like Glen Matlock of Sex Pistols. But that’d take the new member dying on drug OD.

Oh Wonbin Leaving FT Island?

It's like "Who needs a rhythm guitarist?"

Oh Wonbin, the sub-vocal and rhythm guitarist of the Korean boyband FT Island is rumored to be leaving the group any time soon. No, Primadonnas, don’t start some “Only 5″ movement like the Elves. In fact, it’s the lead guitarist and leader Choi Jonghoon who caused this, according to the rumors.

 According to the rumors, this is how it went:
 1. Because of Wonbin’s personality, he didn’t really get along with other members other than vocal Lee Hongki. (wtf, Wonbin isn’t Glen Matlock!)
 2. Nobody liked Wonbin, especially the leader Choi Jonghoon, so he became the outcast of the group.
 3. Jonghoon agreed with Wonbin leaving the band.
 4. Some trainee will replace Wonbin anytime shortly.

 Sounds like a made-up rumor to me, but the Primadonnas are believing it anyway, thanks to Hongki’s horoscope: “You will only become succesful if you lose someone you care about.” Who believes horoscopes?

 So anyway, this is our Sid Vicious… Song Seunghyun the trainee, who is rumored to be replacing Wonbin as the rhythm guitarist of the band. He seriously looks like Big Bang’s TOP.

 Hope this is just some stupid rumor… But it’s getting big, and disappointed fangirls are turning into FT Island anti-fans. Seems like everyone’s hating on our Johnny Rotten (Jonghoon). Scary, yo.
