Super Junior Subway Trains in Taiwan?

It’s weird how they’re doing all kinds of promotions in Asia but never in America..Hello, there are American fans out here!

Anyway, Taiwanese fans will have a blast though. SM Entertainment decided to decorate 51 out of all subway trains currently operating in Taipei with Super Junior posters, till May 7th. Pretty cool, huh?

And one train will be decorated entirely, yes, entirely with Super Junior posters. That means that train will be filled with your beloved Donghae’s , or whoever member’s you have a secret crush on,  posters, everywhere! EVERYWHERE!

By the way, look out for Super Junior’s 3rd full-length album, which will be released on the 17th in Taiwan!

Lucky that you guys live in Taiwan. Nobody cares about some Asian boy band over here in America…phew.

  2. …well even if asian entertainment companies do promote their singers in america, they only promote them to asian-americans. no wonder they don’t get that much coverage. look at boa and se7en. well at least boa’s improving….a bit. while her album might’ve landed in billboard top 200, it’s still a long way to go to call her american debut a phenomenal success. i hope sm promotes their artists not only to asian-affiliated places in america but to the mainstream population as well.

  3. @PHAiLZOR: Hmm..yeah I’m weird:/ Haven’t you noticed that already haha XP
“How I wish Asian singers could debut into Western countries..” I second that. We need more Asian or Asian American singers over here! Okay, we have some PART-Asians like Priscilla Ahn and Karen O, but who else?

  4. @albeitalways: I know, but they don’t speak English, right?:P Last time I checked BoA’s accent was still pretty thick. Nobody cares about Se7en over here, I agree. BoA’s okay, but most non-Asian Americans don’t know her.
Well, we need more Asian AMERICAN singers, at least that’s what I think:P Asian Americans already face a lot of discrimination in the pop industry due to their stereotypes and “foreign” looks (unless they don’t look Asian like Nicole I-can-never-spell-her-last-name from PCD), and now they have to compete against Asian singers like Se7en…

But we have some Asian and part-Asian musicians in the rock industry! Not so many singers, but a lot of instrumentalists! Karen O(The Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Doug Robb(Hoobastank), John Myung(Dream Theater), Joe Hahn and Mike Shinoda(Linkin Park), James Iha(The Smashing Pumpkins), etc…’Kay I’ll just shut up here:P Obviously I babble too much
