DBSK Might Disband

Three DBSK members, Hero Jaejoong, Xiah Junsu, and Micky Yoochun filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment yesterday, asking for cancellation of their contract with SM Entetainment. However, U-Know Yunho and MAX Changmin didn’t take part in suing SM, probably because of their acting careers.

Also, it was confirmed that the three members(Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu) have sent documents to SM on July 4th containing information about them leaving DBSK. At meetings between SM executives and DBSK members’ parents and the three members, the members have notified the executives that they will leave DBSK.

It’s also very likely that DBSK might not perform at the SM Town concert which will be held in the 16th.

Well, I guess we’ll have to say bye to Jaejoong, Micky, and Junsu. *sigh.*

What’s with “Flower Boys”?

Which one?

I have yet to met a heterosexual K-pop fangirl who likes a certain metrosexual “flower boy” teen idol because he looks girly.

As a heterosexual female K-pop fan, I’m not into guys who look overly girlish, like Heechul from Super Junior(no offense I love him and all). And most Super Junior fans I know like it better when Heechul looks more manly, as in here.

If most K-pop fangirls prefer manly looking guys over pretty boys, then what’s with all these companies still producing boybands consist of anorexic boys prettier than girls? Are they trying to cater to the “effeminate Asian male” stereotype or something?
