@izz17: I don’t think you completely got the point of the post:) I was trying to say that there are American Kpop fans out here and that we’re completely capable of liking foreign music. I’m an American of Korean ancestry so I understand SJ songs with no problem, even though sometimes Donghae has this Southwestern accent that makes his part harder to understand..
But thanks for the suggestion! What country are you from btw?

They can always TRY to understand the song right???You can always find their song WITH eng sub on youtube…You could al least make an effort to understand their song….I’m not from Korea but I think Korean song is the best….I love the songs in my countries too though…

Haha:D Don’t Don’ lyrics weren’t all that bad though. I was listening to it the other day though and thought it was pretty ironical because they’re signed to like the 2nd biggest label in Korea. Oh well. We can’t expect punk ethics out of Super Junior; they were never punk anyway. I’ll stick to The Exploited when it comes to punk stuffs:)

I don’t think she’s complaining that Americans don’t understand her music taste..I think she’s trying to break the “mean, close-minded” stereotype on Americans. People think Americans don’t listen to Korean music but we do(I’m half Japanese half Caucasian-American).
Anyways, Sungmin looks hot in that picture. But I agree that Don’t Don’s lyrics sucked(no offense?). It made them sound like some Sum41-kind of pseudo punk, trying to sound all anti-establishment when they actually are conforming to the capitalist system. There’s no American/Asian mindset. People think all differently. I myself would empathize more with a sub-Saharan African punk than a conservative Eurasian free-trade supporter. Does that make me an African-no.
