Which one?
I have yet to met a heterosexual K-pop fangirl who likes a certain metrosexual “flower boy” teen idol because he looks girly.
As a heterosexual female K-pop fan, I’m not into guys who look overly girlish, like Heechul from Super Junior(no offense I love him and all). And most Super Junior fans I know like it better when Heechul looks more manly, as in here.

If most K-pop fangirls prefer manly looking guys over pretty boys, then what’s with all these companies still producing boybands consist of anorexic boys prettier than girls? Are they trying to cater to the “effeminate Asian male” stereotype or something?

@YuRi and Moowy. Sapi.: Hmm..I don’t think there’s such thing as a universal “Asian moral,” because individuals all think differently. That’s just my opinion though. It’s cute that he’s saving his kiss for his future wifey:)

Teuki has written all over his Cyworld profile that he wants to get married and have two(1 girl and 1 boy) or even three kids:) It was really cute. I’ll be really happy to see them getting married and having kids(the kids will be SO CUTE!!!XD).

As a hetero-sexual Asian girl, I AM attracted to androgynous-looking guys with beautiful features–but not “girly-looking.” The flower-boy concept was introduced in Japan because some guys were just TOO beautiful to look at, that their features sometimes surpass the beauty of girls. But they’re not gay!:) Androgyny is simply an accidental effect of their long-layered locks.:) I prefer Heechul with long hair, and now that Kyuhyun is longer hair, he has become cuter than ever. I miss Siwon’s longer layers while they were in E.H.B. (TV Series). And I hated Kibum’s long hair in their video Sorry, Sorry, Sorry. But I still love all of SJ. Even DBSK’s U-Know looked more attractive with that lion mane.:)

well well, in the beginning I didn’t like Heechul because I found him girly, same with Sungmin and Ryeowook (that ended up being called baby face all the time). Now Ryeowook is one of my favs, but because I love him when he’s neither going super sexy nor going overly cute.
The concept of androgyny exists since the early 30′…example german Hollywood actress Marlene Dietrich that was famous for wearing suits in movies.
Come on…I like cute guy AND hot guys.What’s wrong about that?
I like Henry…why? Because he’s cute and sexy.
I like Yesung…why? Because he is way too hot.
I like Kibum…why? He’s handsome as hell…natural beauty.
I like Leeteuk…why? He’s childish and mature in one person.
I like Onew…why? Onew Condition..he’s mostly cute in my eyes.
I like Minho…HOT HOT HOT. Flaming charisma boy with a touch of cuteness.
I like Key…why? He’s handsome…though he likes pink like crazy.
Some people only like sexy, some only cute, some are attracted by both. Like me, I like both…don’t see the problem as long as all sides exist.
And the people with admiration for cute guys…admit: you would miss sexy guys like Siwon, right?
Sexy guys fans…admit: you would miss the touch of cuteness that Leeteuk has.
Both sides fans…admit: you can’t choose one side.
It’s a thing of attraction and that’s different from person to person.

@xKeirafanx: Hmm, well I guess you stated it best. It all comes down to one’s personal preference. Personally though, I’d prefer to see more “sexy-in-a-rocker-way” guys in Kpop, as in Lee Hongki during “After Love.” To me it seems like most Kpop(teen idol) guys are one of the following: effeminately cute, effeminately sexy, or just plain hot. Very few of them belong to the last category though.
As for Leeteuk, I wouldn’t consider guys over the age of 25 “cute,” but I think he looked fine during Sorry Sorry. Dunno why people kept complaining about the short hair-it looked hot on him.

They switch between styles and you can only look and when they try to convince you of their newest view all I do say is:What are you? A trendwhore?
First they were emo, than visu, than rockchick, than hiphop lady, than WTF?
I think we are somehow all emo, because we are emotional. I don’t like these people that bully emo just because they’re frightened they could show their feelings.

You know what’s weird though, you’re not allowed to dress emo in public places in Russia, which is just..well, eh..
Back in my high school in the South, emo was just getting popular, and most “emo kids” were just a bunch of poseurs who couldn’t tell the difference between emo and mallgoth. They intentionally cut themselves, walked around with badly teased hair and raccoon eye makeup… I’m so glad that I’m out of there.
Yes, we do get emotional at times:) And to be honest, I do enjoy some emo songs(shh, the punk kids will try to jump me!). I, too, hate those emo-bullyers. Most emo-bullys in America mostly bully emo boys for acting “gay.” Even though that it’s true that some emo guys are bisexual, not all of them are. How do you “act” gay in the first place anyway? I think it’s homophobic.
